Innovative Electric Motorcycles by Cake Receive Recognition at the World Future Awards
The quest for sustainable development and healthy and agile society of the future inspires enthusiasts and innovators with elegant solutions. Electric vehicles are increasingly filling the streets, and while electric cars are becoming commonplace, electric motorcycles are still an exclusive, something fresh and new. The pioneering company Cake fills this gap with its lightweight, high-performance electric motorcycles that meet the needs of people who combine an active lifestyle with environmental awareness. This year, the World Future Awards research team honored Cake and named it the winner in the category of Best Electric Motorcycles.
World Future Awards is a global award selecting, recognizing, celebrating, and promoting the best products, software, and services that will transform the global economy and define the landscape of the future. The organization researches inventions across all categories, including technology, beauty, health care, food, home, and entertainment, that are making the world better, smarter or even a bit more fun. Transportation is an important aspect of society now and in the future. The solutions proposed by the Cake team help improve the riding experience for people, make the road environment safer and friendlier, and reduce emissions to zero.
Cake was founded in 2016 with the goal of creating high-quality, quiet, lightweight, and clean electric motorcycles. Users were able to appreciate the result of the team’s work already two years later when the Kalk model was introduced. The innovative motorcycle was highly recognized by the audience, and there were many reasons for that. The highly maneuverable, quiet, lightweight, environmentally friendly bike had impressive handling characteristics and took its place in the garages of many riding enthusiasts around the world. Over time, models have been created for different usage scenarios, and today Cake offers premium electric motorcycles for urban environments, work, and extreme off-road riding.
In their effort to ensure that their products last as long as possible and don’t harm nature, Cake offers the re: Cake program. It helps find new owners for used Cake motorcycles. And at the end of a bike’s lifecycle, its parts are recycled and reused.
