WFA: Can you share how Esyasoft is championing sustainability this Plastic-Free July?
Dora: At Esyasoft, sustainability is embedded in our DNA. Although our business involves transforming the energy landscape with cutting-edge AI and IoT Technologies, our marketing efforts will highlight not only our main products and solutions but also the way all organizations should move toward a green future.
We recognize the urgent need to address plastic pollution, which is why we are fully committed to the Plastic-Free July movement. This initiative is a pivotal part of our broader ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy. Our goal is to lead by example and inspire others.
WFA: What specific steps is Esyasoft taking to support the UAE’s non-plastic policies?
Dora: We are very proactive in supporting the UAE’s progressive regulations aimed at reducing single-use plastics. To align with these policies, we are in the process of integrating several sustainable practices into our operations. This will include eliminating single-use plastics in our offices by the end of the year. We will provide all our employees with reusable water bottles, coffee mugs, and utensils. Moreover, as we encourage our partners and suppliers to adopt similar practices, we also work on co-branding partnerships to reach an even wider audience and raise awareness.
WFA: How is Esyasoft incorporating sustainable promotional materials into its branding efforts?
Dora: I believe that brands play a crucial role in driving sustainability. At Esyasoft, we’re constantly exploring innovative ways to minimize waste. This includes opting for eco-friendly materials for our promotional items. By making these conscious choices, we aim to set a precedent in the industry and encourage others to follow suit. Every small step counts towards a larger impact, and we’re dedicated to making those steps matter.
WFA: What initiatives are you taking to engage the community in sustainability efforts?
Dora: Community engagement is a cornerstone of our sustainability strategy. Throughout the year, we plan to organize awareness campaigns to educate and inspire both our employees and the local communities. These campaigns will highlight the importance of reducing plastic waste and adopting sustainable practices. Our goal is to motivate everyone to contribute to the Plastic-Free movement in their own way.
WFA: How can individuals and organizations join Esyasoft in this mission to create a more sustainable world?
Dora: The key to creating a sustainable world lies in collective action. We encourage individuals to start by reducing their personal plastic consumption and making eco-friendly choices in their daily lives. For organizations, it’s about integrating sustainable practices into their operations and collaborating with like-minded partners. Every action, no matter how small, contributes to the larger goal. Together, we can be the change we wish to see and pave the way for a future free from plastic pollution.
WFA: Thank you, Dora, for sharing Esyasoft’s inspiring initiatives. How can people learn more about the Plastic-Free July movement and support Plastic-Free UAE?
